I read Derek Powazek’s Design for Community quite some time ago when it first hit the shelves. I’ve always admired Derek’s sites, and consider a visit to ({fray} tell your stories) to be pure indulgence.

I’m involved in building community sites myself these days, so have been re-reading selected parts of Derek’s book. It was only today that I came across this article on the book’s companion site. Words of truth, eloquently spoken.
