Standards-friendly technical publisher Glasshaus has closed its doors for the last time.

It’s a shame, as their focus was on providing up-to-date technical information and encouraging best practices in web development. Many of their titles promoted adhering to web standards as the ideal way of working. They understood.

I know so many people who have and were working as authors and reviewers for Glasshaus … I hope it resolves well for them.

Update: I just remembered that I’ve been writing for them too (duh) … so eeek.
Update 2: Looks like it’s the whole of Wrox too …
